eBay CEO John Donahoe presented a report this week in Washington DC stating the positive benefits of online shopping. The report, conducted in partnership with Cooler, found that without the need for an actual store, peer-to-peer retailers save on carbon cost, building materials and the ongoing cost of heating, lighting and other costs involved with maintaining a retail space.
