Corporate blogs – eBay Ink included – have a tendency to slip into “press release reformatting mode” if their editors aren’t careful (it’s something I admittedly struggle with every day) so it’s nice to see members of the leadership team talking about trends and timely questions over on the PayPal blog. For example, today Sam Shrauger, VP of Global Product Strategy for PayPal, speculated on whether or not publishers will back the new Apple iPad based on its new subscription plan for digital content.
Apple announced another “special event” to the media this morning. All the rumors point to unveiling the next generation iPad and I found myself wondering if Apple will have any publishers onstage to tout its new subscription plan for digital content. (More …)
