Just browsed over to ebay.com and was pleasantly surprised to see a link to my contributed article on the eBay Stories Blog. The blog’s editor, Joe MacFarland, had asked me to provide a contributed article for the Holiday week and I decided to share my “7 Traits of Successful Bartenders” presentation with readers…
There are 200 or so people involved in the creation of any given pint of beer ā from the farmers to the water company to the distributors, etc. ā but the only human interaction you have with that pint when you go into a pub is the bartender who serves it to you. You create a relationship with that bartender (and, while Iām on the analogy, the English pub or neighborhood bar is essentially your first social network right? The place where workers, farmers, butchers, etc. all came together to share stories over a pint).
Read the full post over on the eBay Stories blog.
Cheers!
