No one ever thought it would happen in our life time. There was speculation that this country was even ready for it. In the past 90 days alone:
• listings of Barack Obama Inauguration-related items have increased 413%.

• 134,926 Obama-related items have sold on eBay for an average selling price of $23.20.

Currently there are more than 20,000 Obama-related listings on the site.

High-ticket items, such as a lot of 620 copies of the Chicago Tribune from Wednesday, November 5, 2008 (the day Obama was officially announced as the 44th President of the United States), sold on eBay for $1,799. Also, a signed, first-edition copy of Dreams of my Father sold for $8,500.
