When did you start selling on eBay: I started selling in 1996 on AuctionWeb
What do your purchase off of eBay for yourself: Everything! Clothing, makeup, furniture, pet supplies and gifts for friends.
Most recent eBay purchase: A pair of weight lifting gloves.
Most memorable eBay experience: Two things: the first was traveling with Griff for close to five years teaching eBay University. The other was when I sold a concrete pump on a bet with the manufacturer. It sold for $14K and luckily the buyer lived right near the factory so they just drove up and picked up their purchase.
What do you enjoy most about eBay: The variety of merchandise, but mostly being able to support other entrepreneurs.

How small is small? (After all, size isn’t everything)

    What do you sell?
My signature item is Quake Hold museum putty! I also sell photo studio equipment for eBay sellers, my books, vintage Barbie, limited edition collectibles and fashion items.

What advice would you give to other sellers?
The only way to succeed on eBay is to work at it. There’s no magic bullet, no easy way to riches. Find merchandise that you are interested in and sell that. Always be on the lookout for discount merchandise that you can resell. If you are overwhelmed with selling, don’t list as much, but always keep your hand in the game. That way you’ll always stay on top of changes.

Best place to look for deals?
eBay, is there any other place to shop?

    What are your interests?
Social Media, gardening, speaking, pets and my work passion (aside from writing and selling) is quality customer service.

    Education
B.A. in English from the University of Miami.

What you wanted to be growing up?
I wanted to be Brenda Starr.

What is your favorite social media tool?
I’ve been using beta programs from hy.ly and Spindex, I really like them both but I mostly use Tweetdeck.

    Favorite quote?
“A woman is like a tea bag- you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

    Favorite album?
They don’t make albums anymore, do they? My music varies according to my mood: smooth jazz, country and pop.

    Favorite Movie?
    It’s a Wonderful Life.

What do you think will be the future of online shopping/selling?
The future will be in mobile. But there are many people who are not shopping or selling online, my goal is to get them there with my books!
