When did you start selling on eBay: I started selling under my first name in January 2000. I was a buyer prior to that.
What do your purchase off of eBay for yourself: Groceries and gas for my 1971 VW Bug.
Most recent eBay purchase: A "Life Is Good" shirt. I am in Love with "Life is Good" shirts for me and my nine year old son. We cannot have enough of them. We started our collection late so many can only be found on eBay. Looking for a VW Bug one...please.
Most memorable eBay experience: I have so many great experiences but I think my favorite is buying a book written by my husbands cousin from a total stranger and it arriving from the address we lived at ten years prior and 3000 miles away.
What do you enjoy most about eBay: I have met some amazing people through eBay, from buyers to sellers, and employees. I have made some marvelous life long friends and love the community presence of eBay.

What do you sell?
My main category is counted cross stitch supplies from patterns to threads to linens. I have added anything that would fall into crafts categories. In order to make any money you have to sell a lot of patterns so I have started adding some unique clothing and collectible coffee cups and china I was passing up while treasure hunting for vintage needle craft items.
What advice would you give to other sellers?
1. Ship International 2. Use all the characters in your title 3. Use an online postage company to avoid time in line at the post office. 4. If you are niche seller, keep that customer through newsletters, invoices, etc.
Best place to look for deals?
eBay, garage sales and thrift stores. I am not much one for Classifieds, but my friends say it is a great source.
What are your interests?
My interests are vast. I love to travel since I spent my teenage years in Spain. I also love genealogy research, I love that needle in the haystack adventure. I also love country music and worked for the country music band, Shenandoah, thus the eBay Id BubbaCanDance, after one of their #1 songs. I also love all things VW Bug. (We have two).

What you wanted to be growing up?
I think I always wanted to be a nurse but after a few years I couldn’t wait to get out of it.
What is your favorite social media tool?
Since I grew up in Spain and have tried to find friends from high school, Facebook has been a great place for me for social media friendships, eBay selling tips, thrifting tips, etc.
Favorite quote?
Life is not waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
Favorite album?
I am torn. Zac Brown Band is a new favorite but I have to stick with anything by the country group Shenandoah.
Favorite Movie?
The Sound of Music.
What do you think will be the future of online shopping/selling?
Mobile and Social! It’s amazing how I can list from my iPad while traveling in the car or waiting for an appointment. Social will play a major part in the future of online selling.
