When did you start selling on eBay: I joined eBay in 2000 as a buyer but still sold a few items.
What do your purchase off of eBay for yourself: Everything I can! Converse shoes, bags, clothing, eBayana, jigsaw puzzles, rubber ducks, Erno Laszlo cosmetics, handmade soaps, Levis 501 jeans, Christmas, birthday and other gifts, some vinyl records and other miscellaneous items.
Most recent eBay purchase: An eBay knapsack picnic set.
Most memorable eBay experience: Winning Meg Whitman's Nasdaq dinosaur for $1200+. It was one of three squeezable rubber dinosaurs given to Meg, Pierre Omidyar and Jeff Skoll by NASDAQ on the occasion of eBay's IPO; the bidding war was fierce!
What do you enjoy most about eBay: The friends and community I have met and the many people we sell to and buy from worldwide, with whom we have a momentary connection through trading our "stuff". I particularly enjoy eBay Radio and the community we have built around those broadcasts. I also value the freedom that eBay allows us; to earn a living by working for ourselves because it's given me a lifestyle that lets me work together with my husband all day long, and there's no one else who I'd rather be with. The eBay spirit is electrifying and empowering!

What do you sell?
I sell Converse shoes, bags, apparel, jigsaw puzzles, rubber ducks (Celebriducks and RubbaDucks), eBayana, vinyl records, fine jewelry and limited collectibles.
What advice would you give to other sellers?
Learn as much as you can, preferably from the best — try an eBay Education Specialist in your area, but you can also learn what NOT to do from the mistakes of others. Be persistent and stay flexible, and treat eBay like a business but enjoy it like a hobby.
Best place to look for deals?
eBay, of course!
What are your interests?
eBay and eBayana, eBay Radio, reading, dance music, horses, occasionally nightclubbing (lots more back in the day), friends and family and current events.

I have a B.A. in English from Lehigh University and am also an Education Specialist trained by eBay.
What you wanted to be growing up?
Myself! No, really…a rider and horse trainer, and I was for many years. Being a professional athlete (equestrian) rocked!
What is your favorite social media tool?
Twitter and Facebook (I can’t pick just one, they complement each other). I tend to tweet more than I Facebook because I can automatically post my tweets to Facebook as status updates if I choose, but I use Facebook to keep up with friends and family who aren’t on Twitter and in more detail than Twitter allows.
Favorite quote?

Favorite album?
Do I have to pick just one? Something by Pet Shop Boys or the Grateful Dead.

The Fisher King.
What do you think will be the future of online shopping/selling?
I hope eBay will play a big part in it! I think e-commerce will continue to evolve, especially on mobile devices and through innovative technologies that right now are just a wild idea in someone’s head.
