I’m currently sitting in the X.commerce Innovate 2011 Day 2 keynote but wanted to share some PayPal news coming out of the conference this morning. To start with, PayPal has updated its Total Payment Volume (TPV) prediction for its digital goods business to $4.7B in 2011 – up $1B from last year.

Gaming
According to a PayPal blog post back in August, 70% of gamers are PayPal customers. As a result, coming this holiday, PayPal will be offering a full, in-console payments experience on Xbox 360.

HTML5 API’s
PayPal will also soon launch a set of HTML5 API’s that will enable developers to integrate in-context, in-app payments in HTML5.
