eBay has a new “bullion center” (eBay Gold and Silver) that helps people select bullion at great prices from trusted sellers. In conjunction with the launch of the new bullion center, eBay released an infographic earlier today that takes a close look at buying and selling trends of Gold and Silver on eBay.

At first glance, it shows that while demand for precious metals has increased, especially in recent years, silver is the most popular, over gold and platinum, because of the lower cost. Even though gold on eBay is 40 times more expensive than silver, gold bullion sold items have increased more than 60% from 2007 through 2010. See full detail below.
