eBay has been good to me and I think of each event with warmth and friendship for all those I’ve met.

The first ebay Live I attended was in Boston. I was so proud and happy to be a part of the eBay community. Since then, I’ve attended eBay Chicago and the eBay Radio Party Vegas.
Because I’ve enjoyed eBay community and making new friends, I’ve started a Seacoast eBay Sellers Group in New Hampshire.
The best part of eBay is Community.

Meeting actual eBay employees and Griff at the 1st eBay LIVE! in Anaheim, CA in 2002, changed my life. I remember thinking to myself that “eBay is REAL with real people as employees… they’re not just a website with robots!” LOL. The employees were so helpfull and friendly to everyone. They made me feel I was part of the Community. My most memorable highlight came five years later, in Boston, MA at eBay LIVE! 2007, as I had the honor and privilege of being part of eBay as an employee (from the Vancouver CS VBC office – 2006 to 2009), helping our Community Members. My dream came true.

My favorite eBay event was the first eBay Live in 2002 my husband and I attended in Anaheim, Ca. Well as the old saying goes, “there’s nothing like the first time” and this was very special. There was a buzz in the air and feeling of anticipation and excitement. It felt like being in an “eBay Amusement Park” Griff from the eBay University providing stellar class sessions, a ending Gala to always remember full of community, dancing and a multi-nation food spread to boot! That event really gave me the information that built the foundation of my eBay business today. I have been selling on eBay continuously for the past 10 years, a Top Rated Seller, Education specialist and Trading assitant and there’s no turning back!
