eBay Green Team’s Ashwin Seshagiri has a great anniversary blog post over on Green Team Talks.

Today is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. In 1970, based largely on the work of a Senator from Wisconsin, there was a nation-wide demonstration in honor of the environment. There were parades and marches and sit-ins at universities. It was one of the very first moments when the notion of, “Think Global, Act Local,” became a reality.
