It isn't. Regarding the Bloom SOFC technology, the reliability is about half of what we find today in a Lithium Carbonate fuel cell, and the cost is much higher. Bloom must also be able to develop a combined heat power system to run with their fuel cells in order to achieve efficiencies(85% or more) currently demonstrated by other commercial fuel cells.
