I think it has been about 4 months since someone introduced eBay CEO John Donahoe to the FlipCam. He has been hooked ever since, producing short video blogs for employees to view on our Intranet (iWeb).

I saw that he took it with him during a visit to Quick Ship Electronics in Woodinville, WA last month. Although the video was originally shot with an internal audience (eBay employees) in mind, I figured because it was already public on YouTube I would take advantage and share with folks here on Ink.

To be honest, I’ve been sitting about 8 cubes away from John for over a year and a half now and I know for a fact that his favorite thing to do is getting out of the office and meeting the people and businesses that use eBay on a daily basis. In this instance, it must feel liberating for him to be on the other side of the camera for a change; hearing stories from people making their living on eBay.

I’m going to keep monitoring the videos as they come in and do my best to get my hands on them for Ink readers/viewers. In the meantime, here is John Donahoe’s version of “5 Minutes With…” Jordan Insley of Quick Ship Electronics.
