I had a radio once, and the knob broke off. Then I had a silent radio.

I have been seeing the questions coming in and have forwarded on to the appropriate folks. Will start hunting people down at the office tomorrow.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Apologies for the radio silence.

One more point:

If ebay would just market this site as a no hassle, no complications experience it would be better off. So much hassle shopping/ selling here. People just want that piece of junk on their doorstep! Invoices, terms of sale, refund policies, personal emails, hidden information, fine print, after sale questionnaires, do nothing but complicate, complicate, complicate. That goes for both sides. Sellers want to get paid ASAP and buyers want their junk ASAP! Why is ebay still allowing buyers to take up to 7 days to pay? With Paypal only, it should be either immediate or 24 hours! 7 days is too long. Refund policies and terms of sale don't even matter with Paypal involved. Why are we wasting peoples' time? Make it easy for both parties and bring some fun back to this site! Thanks for reading my rant.

I come up with this equation to best sum things up:

chinese junk + no fun + stagnant marketplace = ebay

Well, they don't like to hear this but the truth is they rush around going to very important meetings, conventions, making plans and making more plans on top of plans - they are super busy doing everything but the one thing they absolutely NEED to do in order to succeed - that is to LISTEN to their customers the sellers and answer some of their questions. When you look at this blog - some very interesting topics have been raised - this one is a prime example - BUT they are one-sided with us supplying the questions and them saying little to nothing in return :-(

MSFISH213,

Your exact issue was brought up to eBay & Brian Burke years before the DSR system went live to the marketplace. It was pointed out that accommodations for low volume sellers had to be included, but after more than 3 and a half years nothing has been done.

And from this thread it looks like the conversation may be over with this segment of the community here on eBayInkBlog.

Just a quick example of the unfairness and total out and out absurdity of the DSR/feedback system:

I am a "small" seller, maybe 20 auctions a month, but have had high (4.8 or better, 5's across the board the last 2 months) since inception of this system. All feedback left are highly postive comments indicating satisfaction with their purchase. I ship within 24 hours, communicate with my buyers and have great customer service. A buyer, for whatever reason, left me 4's, which in his mind, indicated satisfaction with the transaction. I am now on the verge of being restricted, and my search standing is lowered. For what? This is truly insane.

I completely agree with Jenna. This needs to be looked at and the necessary adjustments must take place beforehand.

All the time thinking about feedback and the fear to get restricted without guilty and without possibility to correct unfair treatment by the buyer ... all this time and energy could be spent to improve the business and seller services. How can I invest in my business when I depend on the ill feedback system and not on my own seller skills.
