If eBay intervenes, and issues a refund, what will happen if the item is supposed to be returned? Will the seller lose both the payment AND the item. Perhaps you can get some more details on the Resolution Process, which seems to be what I’m hearing the most concern about this morning. Specifically:

1. Is it correct to state that eBay will only intervene if resolution attempts between buyer and seller have been unsuccessful?

2. If eBay intervenes, and issues a refund, what will happen if the item is supposed to be returned? Will the seller lose both the payment AND the item. This appears to be a major concern for the sellers I’ve been in contact with this morning.
