We salute you for this intiative to serve the poor in India. India Development Coalition has been working and supporting social entreprenuers like you. We will like to Work with you. We have distributed about 4000 lights in 44 villages of Madhya Pradesh in cooperation with TERI, Rotary International, Rotary Clubs of Naperville and Satna. These lights are given to each family on nominal $1.50 rental basis about the amount they spend on Kerosene per month. We are providing livelihoods to 2 women in each village who help charge these at a charging station. It is creating helping children study better, women to do extra work and increase income, providing livelihood training to women, helping to improve health of the people and helping mitigate climate change. More information is available on www.idc-america.org/activities.php . We are organizing a conference on November 20 at ICC in Milpitas and would like to invite you as a speaker.
