eBay Ink for the Next Few Days

All,
Please be patient over the next few days with Ink’s news reporting and commentary. I became the proud father of a second beautiful, healthy daughter this past weekend.

There will still be stories and posts (as this morning proves evident) on a regular basis over the next two weeks while I spend some quality time with my family but just wanted to give you a heads up that my responses to comments and questions may take a little longer than normal. I have a great team back at HQ that will pitch in as needed while I’m out.

I plan on blogging remotely while out and look forward to seeing you on the other side.

Cheers!
RBH

Hi RBH

Congratulations to you and your wife at this magical time.

Remember not to neglect the first-born or they’ll get jealous of the new addition.

Congratulations. What a wonderful time for you and your family. Enjoy every minute… they grow up so quickly (although, personally, at the time I do remember thinking that there would never be an end to the dirty diaper phase.)

Happy thoughts and well wishes go out to you and your entire family.

Congratulations to you and your wife, Richard!

Two daughters! I know you’re very proud. Spend extra time making a special Daddy connection with the older one. She’ll appreciate it now, and your entire family will appreciate it later. :-)

Congratulations, Richard! Enjoy that new little bundle of love, and, as the others have said, make sure your older daughter has special alone time with you now.

Congratulations Richard :)

Making time for your older daughter is important, but don’t neglect Mom either. She’s likely to feel a little overwhelmed right now.

There is no ’sleep when baby sleeps’ with baby number 2, and you can get exhausted VERY easily.

Best wishes for the whole family

Thanks so much to everyone for their kind words both on the blog and in email. I’m getting back into the swing of things here at HQ so please bear with me as I get back up to speed.

A lot can happen in a week.

Congrats on the new addition to the family. Enjoy her while you can - which would be up until she learns the word “no”. :)
